DelayedLock temporary disables secure PIN & password lockscreens. Not using any pattern-, PIN- or password-lock is a huge security problem, but reentering your PIN 100 times on a daily basis also can be annoying.
Updated:February 2, 2012
Current Version:2.5.4
Requires Android:1.6 and up
Category:Tools
Installs:1,000 – 5,000
What’s in this version:
- added error message when FaceUnlock is used
- removed background service when using ‘deactivate lock’ method, ‘delay since last unlock’ and ‘no simplelockscreen’ (all of them)
- Holo themed on HC & ICS
- Screen Off Shortcut added
- FAQ updated
- deactivate lock dialog now allows only numbers in 2nd textfield if only numbers where entered in the 1st
- build target updated to SDK 14 (enabled hardware acc. etc.)
- removed ICS warning text when already using ‘deactivate lock’ method
‘Delayed Lock’ is an answer to the present problem: when unlocking your phone, it will turn the lock screen off for a user defined amount of time. You can turn your phone off and on as usually as you want without coming into your password/PIN/pattern once more. When a definite time, it will automatically reactivate your lock screen, therefore no stranger will access your personal data.
Additionally, there is also a notification within the Android standing bar and a widget to instantly reenable the lock screen, and free plugins to automatically disable the lock when connected to a specific Wi-Fi network / Bluetooth device or at certain locations.
